The new Helix for 2020 now has the Helix name engraved on the ferrule.  The single bevel Helix design actually forces the arrow to rotate in flight – which means greater accuracy. The rotation continues on impact, resulting in large diameter wound channels. The multiple cutting edges of the Helix means maximum damage. We sharpen the Helix from the back to the point. The objective is to leave a slight burr on the edge to initiate quicker blood loss and to help the wound channel stay open for a more complete bleed out. For resharpening you can use any flat sharpening device, taking metal from the side opposite the bevel. It is very important to keep the integrity of the bevel. That's why you do not attempt to resharpen on the bevel side.
